New Year's Eve

The dinner-dance on New Year’s Eve will be held in the Fireside Room at Gateway from 7:00 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. and will feature music by DJs Dan Russell and Nick Zapata. This event is open to all members of the various Rossmoor dance clubs, Rossmoor residents and invited guests.
Singles as well as couples are welcome, whether you love to dance or simply enjoy a night out with good company, tasty food and wonderful music. The attire for this special event is New Year's Eve dressy casual.

We will begin with a social hour at 7 PM in the ante room at Fireside featuring passed appetizers of bacon wrapped shrimp with pesto aioli, brie & cranberry toast points, and stuffed mushrooms, along with a variety of beverages. It's a wonderful time to chat with friends & make new acquaintances.
The social hour will end at 7:45 PM and dinner, catered by Creekside Catering, will start at 8 PM. The music of DJs Dan Russell and Nick Zapata welcomes you to your reserved seats in the dining room. A wide variety of ballroom favorites will play throughout the evening for your dancing and listening enjoyment. The evening concludes just after midnight with a toast to the tune of Auld Lang Syne. New Year's Eve table décor and party favors will be provided by our talented club member Teresa Taniguchi.
On the tables will be salads (winter greens with pear, English cucumber, dried cranberries & croutons,) as well as assorted dinner rolls & butter. Entrée choices are:

GF* Filet steak tips in a mushroom sauce, creamy polenta, vegetable medley (Gluten free)

GF* Wild Alaskan cod with lemon, capers & butter sauce, served with rice pilaf, and green beans with mushrooms

Florentine Alfredo lasagna

Dessert will be chocolate silk pie with chocolate sauce. Decaf coffee and tea will be available.

MEAL SELECTIONS:
The December activity dues for the event is $85 per person.
Zelle users can pay their activity dues with no fees for you and will also save the Club from paying credit card fees.

Instead of making your reservations online:

you can make your reservations by sending your Zelle payment to PenguinDanceClub@gmail.com, and

in the Zelle note be sure to enter the event date, your meal selections with names, and any seating request you might have.

That's it! Much akin to paying by check but without any paper or mail.

Last day to cancel is Thursday, Dec 17 by Noon.
