New Year's Eve

The dinner-dance on New Year’s Eve will be held in the Fireside Room at Gateway from 7:00 p.m. to 12:15 a.m. and will feature music by DJ Colin Dickie. This event is open to all members of the various Rossmoor dance clubs, Rossmoor residents and invited guests.
Singles as well as couples are welcome, whether you love to dance or simply enjoy a night out with good company, tasty food and wonderful music by DJ Colin Dickie. The attire for this special event is New Year's Eve dressy casual.

We will begin with a social hour at 7 PM in the ante room at Fireside featuring passed appetizers of bruschetta with sun dried tomato and olive Tapenade, stuffed baby Portabella mushrooms, and smoked salmon with herb dill mousse Tartine, along with a variety of beverages. It's a wonderful time to chat with friends & make new acquaintances.
The social hour will end at 7:45 PM and dinner, catered by Classic Catering, will start at 8 PM. The music of DJ Colin Dickie welcomes you to your reserved seats in the dining room. A wide variety of ballroom favorites will play throughout the evening for your dancing and listening enjoyment. The evening concludes just after midnight with a toast to the tune of Auld Lang Syne. New Year's Eve party favors will be provided by our talented club member Teresa Taniguchi.
On the tables will be Pumpernickel Panzella salads (fennel, radicchio, romaine, oranges, tomato) as well as bakery breads & butter. Entrée choices are:

Pacific coast white seabass with orange marmalade glaze & pomegranate seeds, served with jasmine rice pilaf & broccoli florets (gluten free)

Roasted filet mignon with cabernet demi sauce, served with creamed spinach & shallots, and mashed sweet potato (gluten free)

Vegetarian spinach and ricotta cheese cannelloni
Dessert will be chocolate brandy bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. Coffee and Tea will be available.

MEAL SELECTIONS:
The December activity dues for the event is $80 per person.
Zelle users can pay monthly activity dues with no fees for you and will also save the Club from paying credit card fees.
